Description:
Precision die cut part with an excess of 120 lineal inches of steel rule knife. This part requires a press with more than 150 ton capacity.
Application:
The two different part configurations shown are used in commercial ventilation systems to separate and properly space a cellulose filter media and provide optimal filtration. The material provides for minimal water absorption which reduces mildew and bacteria from collecting.
Material Used:
.030 inch thick expanded polypropylene, U.L. Fire Retardant rated.
Other Materials:
Hard fibre materials without the U.L. rating.
Tolerances:
± .020 inch
Production Rates:
1,500 parts per hour on a 200 metric ton press with a multi cavity steel rule die.
