Number: 9809-01 (Die Cut Heat Transfer Pad)

Heat Transfer Pads
Product Name:
Thermally Conductive Insulator Pads
Description:
Thermal interface pads designed to conduct heat from an electronic component to a heat sink device. The pad reduces the thermal resistance by conforming to the uneven surfaces and eliminates air pockets. The pads are "kiss-cut" and supplied on a polyester carrier for ease in handling and assembly.
Application:
The parts shown above find use on an electronic power supply. This part eliminates the need for thermal grease. It provides a consistent thermal path while reducing the overall cost to the manufacturer. This type of part finds use wherever a hot electronic component requires a consistent thermal path to a heat sink.
Material Used:
High aluminum oxide-filled silicone elastomer.
Other Materials:
Ceramic-filled silicone or Boron Nitride-filled elastomer.
Tolerances:
± .010 inch
Production Rates:
50,000 pices per day with existing tooling.
