Wire Barrier and Insulator Set
Description:
A set of die cut insulators that protects leads on a circuit pack or PWB. These insulators provide the necessary electrical separation to meet U.L. spacing requirements of distance and clearance.
Application:
The long insulator (bottom center) serves as a quick connect to the back of the terminal on a commercial AC supply power unit that requires the "two method" of fastening. It also provides reinforced insulation to a wire set and prevents pinching . The other insulators provide clearance and distance to meet the U.L. requirement. These insulators help products meet the stringent U.L. requirements for a wide range of electrical and electronic applications.
Material Used:
Flame retardant polycarbonate film U.L. listed 94V-0.
Other Materials:
Flame retardant polypropylene. Available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive.
Tolerances:
± .020 inch
Production Rates:
1000+ kits per day with existing tooling.
