Optically Clear EMI/RFI Window
Description:
A custom die cut EMI/RFI window which provides visibility to a shielded enclosure. Optical clarity exceeds that of traditional wire-embedded shielded windows. This polyester film substrate reduces tooling costs to that associated with parts from precision die cut fabrication.
Application:
Any electronics application requiring a window to view a display with EMI/RFI shielding requirements in the 1 MHz to 1 GHz range.
Material Used:
A multilayer silver oxide-based conductive coating applied to a heat stabilized, optical quality polyester film. The substrate has a nominal thickness of 8 mills. Adhesive backed copper tape provides for conductive edge termination.
Other Materials:
Additional substrates include acrylic, polycarbonate and glass. Various filters including anti reflective are available . Edge termination options include conductive gaskets and adhesives.
