- EMI/RFI Fan Tray Gasket
- Description:
- A dual purpose composite gasket that provides EMI shielding and environmental sealing. This combination gasket consists of a low closure force hollow silicone tube covered with a knitted monel mesh that is attached to a closed cell neoprene sponge rubber with pressure sensitive adhesive backing on one side.
- Application:
- Time division multi access thermal transfer unit used in the telecommunications industry. This design also has applications in other types of electronics enclosures that require both an environmental seal and EMI/RFI shielding.
- Material Used:
- .250 inch diameter silicone tube covered with a knitted monel mesh and a .250 inch thick closed cell neoprene sponge with pressure sensitive adhesive on one side.
