- Die Cut Laminated ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Shield
- Description:
- A laminated die cut part consisting of .002 inch thick aluminum laminated to .0075 inch thick polyester film. The polyester film provides insulation properties while the aluminum provides for effective EMI and electrostatic shielding.
- Application:
- Laser diode controller keyboard and other electronic applications that require a combination of shielding and insulation. This replaces an expensive fabricated sheet metal part.
- Material Used:
- UL listed .0075 thick polyester film laminated to .002 thick Aluminum.
- Other Materials:
- Flame retardant polypropylene or PVC laminated to copper foil.
- Tolerances:
- ± .015 inch
- Production Rates:
- 25,000-50,000 parts per day with existing tooling.
