- Description:
- A circular honeycomb dielectric spacer design that provides an engineer with a lightweight, precision, high strength part. The part is die cut with a special proprietary steel rule die and process.
- Application:
- Aircraft electronic antenna application. Also, other applications requiring a light weight high strength nonmetallic structural part with excellent dielectric properties.
- Material Used:
- 3/16 inch thick Aramid fiber-phenolic resin honeycomb meeting the requirements of Mil-C-81986.
- Other Materials:
- 1/4 inch thick material.
- Tolerances:
- ± .030 inch on thickness, ± .050 inch T.I.R.
- Production Rates:
- 5000+ parts per day with existing tooling.
