Housing Gasket, Environmental/Shielded Combination

Description:

This part consists of two different materials extruded in two different profiles and bonded together. The extruded assembly is then cut to the required lengths with mitered corners. The lengths are bonded together with conductive adhesive. The bonded assembly is then placed in a die to accurately cut the required mounting holes.

Application:

Military aircraft electronics housing and other applications requiring temperature extremes ranging from -85 F to +350 F.

Material Used:

Silver plated aluminum particles in a fluorosilicone matrix for an EMI seal and a fluorosilicone rubber for the environmental seal.
