Die Cut Bug Strips

Description:

Perforated or knitted mesh material with pressure sensitive adhesive applied for ease of installation. This part keeps unwanted insects or debris out of the electronic enclosure while allowing outside air ventilation.

Application:

Outdoor electronics cabinets. Also, many other applications that require screening for insects, birds, and other pests. This part can replace a welded in place wire mesh screen or mechanically fastened screen assembly. It has a particular advantage when attaching to a non metallic housing. This non metallic material allows an engineer to design an easy to install cut, die cut, scored, and/or adhesive applied part for ease of installation or replacement.

Material Used:

Clear polyester with high strength acrylic adhesive.

Other Materials:

Polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene.

Production Rates:

Rolls of material-1,500 ft/hr; Cut parts-2,500 parts/hour with existing tooling.
