EMI/RFI Composite Wrapped Gasket

Description:

A flexible EMI/RFI gasket that works exceptionally well under low closure force and with uneven flange surfaces. The gasket consists of a foam core with a polyester fabric wrap. This type of gasket works well with plastics and light metals. It can also help design by allowing the use of fewer and smaller fasteners.

Application:

Low volume applications. This type of part finds use on special computer hard drives as an EMI/RFI shield. Other applications include medical equipment, avionics, navigational equipment, and much more.

Cellular urethane sponge core with a nickel on copper coated polyester covering.
