Low Closure Force EMI Gasket

Description:

An EMI/RFI gasket that has a foam core with an exceptionally low compression characteristic. This provides for a low closure force. This low closure force allows an engineer to design effective EMI/RFI shielded enclosures with fewer fasteners and thinner panels and doors. The gasket can come with a pressure sensitive adhesive strip for ease of installation.

Application:

Used in commercial metal enclosures or metalized plastic housings requiring EMI/RFI shielding.

Material Used:

Conductive knitted layer of wire mesh over a nonconductive foam core.

Other Materials:

Self terminating conductive nylon mesh over non conductive foam core.

Sizes:

Available in various sizes ranging from .125" to 1.00" thick.

Production Rates:
