Flexible Heat Spreader, T-Wing(TM)

Description:

T-Wing(TM), a Trade Mark of Parker Chomerics, Inc., heat spreaders are thin flexible cooling devices with a high strength adhesive for replacing conventional heat sinks in restricted space applications.

Application:

Heat spreaders mount to hot electronic components to dissipate heat and reduce case and die junction temperature for enhanced reliability and extended component life.

Material Used:

.007" thick copper with .0015" thick black PVF electrically insulating film on both sides. A high strength pressure sensitive thermally conductive silicone adhesive is used for attachment. The overall thickness is .013".

Other Materials:

UL 94V-0 version with Polyester insulating film

Production Rates:

Six standard sizes tooled for high production. Other sizes and shapes dependent on tooling.
