Splitter RF Gasket

Description:

This gasket serves as a weather seal and an EMI/RFI shield for an instrument housing. The rubber matrix seals out most liquids and air from -70° to +500° Farenheit. The monel wire embedded in the rubber reduces EMI/RFI that might distort the instrument's readings.

Application:

High-tech hand held or dash mounted radar gun. Also, many other applications requiring an environmental and EMI/RFI shield.

Material Used:

.004" diameter monel wire imbedded in a 40 durometer grey silicone rubber matrix with wires oriented perpendicular to the sealant surfaces. This component includes an adhesive with peel off paper for ease of assembly.
